There are evidences that motor training performed with reduction of weight can facilitate the execution of movements with significant improvements in the arm function in stroke.
Moreover in stroke relief of weight can lead to the reduction of abnormal muscle synergies, i.e. elbow flexion associated to shoulder abduction, with consequent increment of the workspace.
